Grace Leadership Foundation (aka Grace Foundation) was established by Bola and Kemi Olowe in January 2005. The Foundation emerged after due consideration of the state of affairs of the nation Nigeria and realization of the depth of decadence and corruption in the land. We then came to the conclusion that, Nigeria and indeed the entire Black Race require a new generation of leaders; a collective that will be in the vanguard of a national leadership rebirth and restoration of our country and race.
It is not that Nigeria has ever lacked organisations, such as churches, mosques and so on praying for it or doing one thing or the other. In fact Nigerians have been adjudged one of the most praying and religious nations on earth. Unfortunately, despite all these, corruption, greed, selfishness and hypocrisy continue to predominate in the land.
Grace Foundation has therefore come to provide a paradigm shift in our nation and race. This is to develop a new generation of leaders amongst the generality of the people in order to commence a rescue mission for the nation in order to arrest the current aimless drift and safeguard the future of generations yet unborn.
The foundation will rely on endowments from the founders and proceeds from book launches, grants, sponsorships and donations received during and as part of its programmes.
To raise up leaders and bring about a paradigm shift in all areas of the society and make positive contributions towards changing the attitude of humanity for good, especially in the developing nations of the world.
To provide leadership development for youths in Nigeria and the developing nations through training, scholarship for indigent but brilliant students in tertiary institutions, including mentoring and community service; all geared towards "building the old waste places, raising up the foundations of many generations, repairing the breach and restoring of paths to dwell in" (Isaiah 53:12) across Nigeria and the developing nations of the world.
The motto of Grace Leadership Foundation is: “Raising up the foundation of many generations” This motto has been inspired by a verse in the book of Isaiah Chapter 58, verse 12, which says: Those from you Shall build the old waste places; You shall raise up the foundations of many Generations; And you shall be called the Repairer of the Breach, The Restorer of streets to Dwell In.
